Apparently there was an off duty armed police officer outside the club. Didn't seem to help much.

So what are you telling me? Did the officers kill him? Yes they did. So are your chances better if you are armed and have trained yourself with this weapon/tool? Yes. Did the officers use sticks to stop him? No

No there were armed people outside the club, he started shooting at them first, then went inside the club and shot 50+ people. The armed off duty copy wasn't able to do squat to stop the guy, it was only after he had killed 50+ people that they were able to storm the building and kill him.

The wife of this suspect has said he was mentally unstable.

But I guess that's only relevant if the shooter is a white male, then it must be a mental disorder, has nothing to do with race/religion then.

of course they won't mention it. Only if it's a white dude, then OBVIOUSLY we have to be worried if he's mental or has a good career

1) Ever heard of the Phineas Preasthood? What about the

Liberation front of Tipura? LRA? Eastern lightning? I don't recall the media going nuts over Frazier Miller. Before you call me dishonest, I hope you realize both Islam and Christians have psychotic beasts who do nothing but put society down. Stop acting as though Christians are magically innocent.

2)I was on Fox News. Guess they were having their typical anti-muslim speaker. Then again, it's unfair. Every large broadcaster has their fair share of biased speakers.

3)Also, what do borders have to do with this? While I agree with your point for borders needing to be controlled/closed, what does THIS situation have to do with borders? This dude could be a man who's simply from a different country, but spent the majority of his life in here.

What the fuck?! Frazier Miller is not a christian, Phineas priests were no christians.

From what I've heard Front of Triptura is a defensive group in reaction against muslim terror on christians in India. But if they have made terrorist attacks that's disgusting. I didn't know that.

Yes, LRA is the infamous christian guerilla army in Africa. It's used as the exception that proves the rule. The rule that says that christians don't commit terror.

Christians aren't innocent but you very seldom see violence commited by them.

About borders, the guy was a child of immigrants from the Middle East. We currently see hordes of children to immigrants causing havoc in Europe right now, and that's clearly a product of immigration. And together with immigrants comes this "explain away" mentality and roots itself in society, together with leftist ideology. Examples of this phenomon are plenty in this very thread - posters with immigrant background trying to explain away this terror attack.

Uhh...what?

My father and his parents came together to America. So, would I be a person with immigrant background? Just wondering.

Also, I don't see anyone supporting this. No one in this thread has said, "YEA, KILL THE GAY STRIP CLUB MEMBERS!". Perhaps all they're saying is that we automatically assume they're part of ISIS and are 100% mentally stable. Whenever it's a non-white dude, you never the media considering if the shooter is mentally unstable or not.

Oh, and just so you know, I don't support this. It's a devestating attack. Only thing that bothers me is people labeling it the "worst mass shooting in US history". Is it truly? I always thought there were events much larger than this.

It's quite disappointing how this event has made people immediately point fingers to entire groups of people. Some are blaming weak gun laws, some are blaming Islam, others are blaming refugees- heck, some are blaming white people(I seriously wonder why)
Maybe we just give our respects and save it for later?

Ugh.. I love this forum but I knew most would bring up this anti gun shit. So this muslim terrorist wouldnt have been able to get ahold of guns because of strict gun laws? I carry a gun almost every day. Will I ever save the day from terrorism? Probably not but my chances are better than someone who is anti protection.

Why do you carry a gun with you?  These gun laws are the very reason i would never go to America, I've never seen a real gun in my life and i hope i never do see one.

It could also be a little bit of all of them or none.

Gun laws are known to work though, maybe not in the USA due to the flow from Mexico... But that's another discussion, but the fact is, they do work when all the pieces of the puzzle are in place.

Islam/Christianity/Judaism and other Abrahamic religions have typically always been extremely anti-Homosexual, which in the correct environment can breed some pretty toxic and damaging ideas which leads to increases in suicide and abuse.
There are Christians for instance who believe the Bible in it's entirety, even the MOSAIC laws such as Leviticus and thus Homosexuality is an Abomination and they should be put to death.

With that said, whoever is willing to take another life are obviously mentally unstable or have been conditioned to do it, no exception.

I have noticed a fair few Christian outlets though who have typically been very vocal about being Anti-Homosexual are sending their "prayers" and "Condolences". Will be interesting to see if their tune changes about constantly ridiculing this particular demographic in the future though, they have been part of the problem, but it's still nice to see everyone come together in light of a tragedy.

Here we have something that the people that believe the Bible is the word of God and the people that believe that the Quran is the word of Allah can both agree gay people must die

This is why I dislike Religion and Right Wing people,

What on earth has it got to do with Right Wing people?

Stalin made homosexuality illegal. It has nothing to do with a political leaning. It nearly always has to do with having some kind of totalitarian ideology. Those are the main things that give people the sense that they have a right to dictate what you do in private.

I mean it's true that it doesn't always have to do with political leaning, I'd say in America it's closely related. Very few people outside the right hate gays in 2016.

Only way to solve shootings is add more guns to the equation. That way a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with a gun!
