Well, if Fallout is any indication, it's going to have to happen eventually once we all start fighting over Alaska's oil, and this whole Trump thing will probably hasten our path towards the end of the world. I suppose getting an early start on that conflict might be beneficial. I suppose that whole "best trading relationship in the world" thing would be gone, but according to Fallout we pretty much have no choice.

Of course, I'd rather we just annex the moon and exile Trump there.

The funny thing about Canada is the US would really only need to move the line about 100 miles north of the border to encompass nearly the entire population. Many of the regions even share highways.

Remember the last time the US invaded Canada, it got its arse kicked so badly that the UK/Canadian forces came over and burnt down the US Capital. Who's to say the same thing won't happen again
