And I wished someone would do a similar site for worldwide music sales (e.g. to observate the decline of CDs vs. the rise of legal downloads, the unexpected resurrection of LPs in certain regions) as ioi does for games. Wishful thinking, this will never happen.

ioi's site is unique.

Although this site is "only" about video games, last holiday season figures as reflected weekly on VGChartz gave an excellent indication for the impact of year end sales on economy in general, not only for video games. I always knew November/December are huge, but I never knew they are THAT huge.

Once upon a time I- a young lad of 17- decided to spend the whole day doing my most beloved past time,
surfing the internet for porn.
Oh what a great day that was.

Can you believe that? I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time.

Anyway, after that awesome day, obviously I was feeling languid from all the... exercise,
I decided to mellow out and ask myself some deep questions.
