It was an excellent conference. It was easily a 9, even with the crash troll.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I'd much rather have a "short" conference like this than a long conf that drags. Heck, even Sony's conf last year was full of filler. This was way better, in terms of pacing (and the content suited my tastes better as well).

Also by the way the hate for Call of Duty is absolutely not justified. I thought it looked amazing.
The conference was amazing. Short and sweet, packed full of so much content and new games it's amazing.

In what world is the twentieth seventh Spiderman game (which I'm sure its another open world game, I didn't watch the whole thing) a megaton? Everyone knew about Kojima working with Sony. |
I'll explain to you: This one made by a great studio, it's a big budget title like no Spiderman in a long time (ever?) and it's probably exclusive. :o That's why it's a megaton.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

The only bad thing you can take out from this, other than crash, is that all new games announced there wont be comming no sooner than holiday 2017, maybe its even later.

Can't lie, it looked better than I expected. Only reason I hated on it in the first place was for putting COD4 behind a special edition release of a different game...... which unfortunately they seem to be sticking to
I'd have liked 1 more surprise at the end (or for them to at least couple the Days Gone announcement and gameplay demo together; them being separate felt odd), but overall that was a really great show. Almost nothing but games from start to finish, no huge swings in momentum like last year, and some interesting surprises. They also managed to make me a lot more interested in PSVR than i was before the show, which is nice.
It gets a 8.5 from me. Maybe a 9; i need to work through everything they showed to be sure (there really was a lot of it...).

In a world where this is the first Spider-Man in a decade to be made by a studio with a great track record.

It's that it's made by Insomniac Games. That pretty much confirms quality for the franchise (finally). |
Finally we can get an amazing spidey game :D
