Ok, here's the scenario, got a game, loving it.. get stuck somewhere.. really stuck, like for an hour you're trying to figure something out but you just don't clue in. Do you cheat? do you give up? do you keep trying for possibly hours? Or does this just never happen to you guys? Generally, if i'm stuck in a spot for a long time, or if it's just not fun looking for that lucky charm among all 132 clouds (or whatever) i'll go to gamefaqs.com and try to get just the info need to get passed the current obsticle.. It feels dirty, but sometimes it's either cheat or give up! What's your guys take on cheating in video games?

i don't mind, but i only due it after i beat the game thru once with out cheating

nope,im anti strategy guides and walkthroughs...try your best to figure it out...if you abolutely cant....look up an online walkthrough for that part i guess...

When it comes to finishing games, I try not to look at spoilers and cheats, but if its hours and days and Im still nowhere, I check guides.
Example, Wind Waker ( the 8 shards)

Only in the most desperate of situations.

Well games like grand theft auto I usually use cheat because I get bored rather quick. Some games are meant to be cheated others cheats ruin the experience .

sometimes I give up. Gave up on Mass Effect.

Rarely, but I often use walkthroughs when I'm stuck.
I never cheat on a first playthrough, it ruins the experience.

I don't like to cheat but sometimes is necessary, for example one orange Block is Sub space emissary was almost impossible to found... so i use a guide to find it.
