Nintendo: The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Super Mario

Nintendo: Fire emblem, Xenoblade, golden sun
Sony: God of war, Wild arms, Ape escape
Microsoft: Fable...

Sony:
Naughty Dog- The Last of Us
Guerrilla Games - Horizon Zero Dawn
Sony Santa Monica - God of War

Nintendo:
Whoever makes Fire Emblem
Monolith - Xenoblade
Whoever makes Zelda

Microsoft:
The Coalition - Gears of War
Rare - Perfect Dark
343 - Halo

I'm sure Sony own the Wild Arms IP but Media.Vision who develop the franchise are not a first party studio. So can this be included in the Sony first party bracket @OP as it's what many would class as 2nd party.

I should leave and stop nitpicking......

Sony:
Uncharted/Naughty Dog
Infamous/Sucker Punch
Last Guardian/Team Ico

Nintendo:
Zelda/EAD
Fire Emblem/Intelligent Systems
Xenoblade/Monolith Soft

Microsoft:
Halo/343
Forza/Turn 10
Banjo Kazooie/Rare

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

There were three ravens sat on a tree / They were as blacke as they might be / The one of them said to his mate, Where shall we our breakfast take?

Hmmmmmmm thats going to be hard, but here we go:

Nintendo:

Xenoblade Chronicles franchise (Monolith Soft)
The Legend Of Zelda (Nintendo EAD)
Metroid (Retro Studios)

Sony:

Uncharted (Naughty Dog)
Horizon Zero Dawn (Guerilla Studios)*
Ratchet And Clank (Insomniac)

Microsoft:

Halo (343 industries)
Ori and the Blind Forest (Moon Studios)
Gears of War (The Coalition)

I felt that I was not really represented in microsoft side, since many of the games im interested in the system comes from second-parties, but oh well

*Horizon is there more to point to a new franchise than Horizon itself.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Not really sure what you mean by the developer is tied to the IP but

Fire Emblem
Zelda
Xenoblade

Ratchet and Clank
Uncharted
Little Big Planet

Halo
Fable
Minecraft

Nintendo - this was the easiest for me. So many great series guided by some very steady hands. Had to leave out a lot of good stuff, like Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Metroid, and Splatoon - the last of which I think has a bright future, even after only one game.

1) The Legend of Zelda (Nintendo EAD/EPD) - I trust Aonuma to keep making magic
2) Super Mario (Nintendo EAD/EPD) - a series that's consistently great
3) Xenoblade (Monolith Soft) - this satisfies my RPG lust

Sony - that was a little problematic for me. Wipeout and its studio are gone. Uncharted is at an end. I don't particularly trust Guerrilla with Killzone. Who the heck knows what's going on with Team Ico.

1) God of War (Santa Monica) - this series still has potential, and the rumors of a new setting give me hope
2) Jak and Daxter (Naughty Dog) - I still consider the original Jak to be ND's best game
3) Gravity Rush (Project Siren/Japan Studio) - the folks at Siren and Japan Studio are trustworthy

Microsoft - this was the hardest for me. I would normally pick Halo, but I don't have faith in 343 to deliver the goods. Lionhead is closed. Ensemble is closed.

1) Gears of War (The Coalition) - I liked what I saw in the Gears 4 beta
2) Forza (Turn 10) - I'm not the biggest sim racer fan, but this is one of Microsoft's more reliable IPs
3) Banjo-Kazooie (Rare) - Rare is 15 years removed from its glory days, but I just adore Banjo

So that's it for me.

Three platformers
Two action-adventure
One shooter
One sim racer
One hack 'n' slash
One RPG

I strongly considered Gravity Rush, but since there's only been 1 game, with the 2nd on the way, I decided against it, since it's still a young lil franchise.

Glad someone else took it up in my place x D

Our Ninten and Xbox ones have 2 or 1 similar picks, but our Sony ones are way different, haha!
