I think that when you die, you get what your expecting.

I don't really like to talk about this much, I once had a feeling that when you die you see darkness for an eternity, like when you sleep but forever, I don't really know much about where your spirits go and all that stuff
ugg... another one of these type threads.. Well I'll say it anyways:
If you accept Jesus into your heart = Heaven
If you don't do the above = Hell

Well, you still get into heaven, provided you meet the requirements of your own religion, but you get the room under Jesus and he plays his stereo really loud every day

I don't get how more thinking will imply that there is something after you die. I don't believe in god but I have thought alot about the concept. I'm a man of science and for my studie I read alot of literature on biology and biopsychology that helps me out.

I think that once you die, then that is just it.....you are gone and there is no after.
Doesn't bother me that I think that way either.
| rendo said: My wife has this horrible idea that when you die, you expire, like batteries (Not the rechargeable kind). That everything just shuts off. I tried reasoning with her that her assertion is hopelessly false because in order for nothing to exist anymore you must be aware of this so you must still be conscious. I personally think when we die, our physical manifestation "expires", but our "spirit" still lives on, like you're stuck in your own head. I also find it kind've odd that she still lingers on these thoughts, and has so for many years. I got over the "What if I didn't exist" train of thought when I was around 8-10. So what do some of you guys think happens when we kick the bucket? |
I don't want to think about it.
