Actually he called it a console but never actually called it a home or a portable console.

I'm failing to see where he calls the NX a home console.

WSJ: Sony’s and Microsoft’s consoles have far outsold the Wii U. What’s your strategy to come out ahead? 

Fils-Aime: The time frame that these systems are sold is quite long, and right now we’re still at the very early stages of the current generation. The other piece I would highlight is this is a global business. Don’t just look at what’s happening here in the U.S. Look at what’s happening globally.

From a Nintendo perspective, we clearly have strength here in the Americas, we have strength in Europe and we have strength in Japan. That isn’t necessarily true of some of our more direct competitors. We’ve also said publicly that we are already hard at work on our next home console and that’s another element we’ll be talking about much later.

Miyamoto has been talking about a new home console even before the NX reveal. When he says that they have said they have acknoledge there next homes console, he is very well telling the truth. Miyamoto has kind of spilled the beans. But in no where in the interview does he refer to the NX as a homeconsole. Its very misleading to claim that. And its especially bad to use Wii U Daily as a source. They are a shitty site that is nothing but click bait titles and take stuff out of context to try and start a console war.

For the record, I think NX is at least in some form a home console, but its misleading to take a quote out of context and spin it your way.

I mean what I said is very relavent. Reggie said that they have talked about there next home console before, and even before this happened Miyamoto has said several times they are making another home console. So its unfair to say that he is saying the NX when Nintendo themselves have blatantly talked about making there homeconsole to the media on several ocasions.

I'm saying in general, its a shitty site. Every site would report on him saying they are making a homeconsole.
