I don't think its misleading at all. Nintendo announces NX. Then Reggie says they are working on the home console they previously announced. It doesn't matter what Miyamoto says. He isn't even a part of the equation. Reggie already spelled it out.
Otherwise there were plenty of other sites that picked up the story. To say that all of them is shitty or click baity would be a little much.
