Question:

Can someone explain how to get A support?
90% of all my attacks are done with support, but still only Micaiah and Sothe have A support. Is there something extra you need to do (besides the start conversations)?

Well, welcome Kenology. Feel free to share your thoughts.

Just started the endgame with:

Ike
Micaiah
Sothe
Sanaki
Eni
Kurth

Rolf
Titania
Oscar
Gatrie
Mia
Soren
Tibarn
Boyd
Haar
Volke

Reyson

I spend about an hour on Skill and item assignment, but Haar was killed in the first turn. Damn his bad resistance to magic.

That sucks that your Haar is underdeveloped. I'm not to the endgame on my Hard playthrough quite yet but I am in the 4th Part and right now Haar can take a lightning blast and survive another hit from a unit using a standard weapon. That'll make it harder. This playthrough im devopling both Haar and Jill with hopes to have both of them assist me in the Endgame chapters. Izaaz your in for a treat. Part IV is brutal and awesome. You get so many levels gained compared to the rest of the chapters, but you really have to earn them. Especially the last few missions. Its totally epic. Welcom Kenology. Its gonna be nice to have more than the same 4 of us chatting about this awesome game. (not that theres anything wrong with you other three!!) Let us know if you need any help because it seems like we are all willing to give advice out. Or just chat about whatever you like/dislike about the game. anything goes.

Have two characters hang around each other in battle, have them talk to each other, select the option to increase the support after the battle.  Never seemed to take more than 2 battles to go from C to A support for me.

Dont quote me on this because im not 100% sure, but I think as long as you have them using the support a lot and do the conversations during battle then every second (maybe third?) turn or so it should let you increase the support in the base menu under the support menu.

Sweet, I'm looking forward to it.

Also, welcome Kenology. I didn't even see your post before.......I've been used to just seeing the usual people around.

Whats everyones favorite mission.

I love the one where you get to burn the supplies and round up the senators. Tons of fun.

I liked 3-13 Blood Contract.

I started playing today the game.
My plan was to play through games like RE:UC and Mario Galaxy..I finished RE but the "lust" to the game overrun me..I couldn`t continue Galaxy.I started playing Fire Emblem.
My god it`s a wonderful and so addictive game. It`s the familiar feeling when you had played the FE:POR that you can visit the Tellius again..
It`s welcomes you with a soothing voice..

...little too much. aye!..

Just wait til you're at the end of part II, goosebumps guaranteed! Thanks WoW, I never thought about manually upgrading support. I thought it would go automatically (which it did for Sothe and Micaiah). Starting the Endgame I had 150.000 BEXP, can you take this to your 2nd playthrough? I could create monsters that way. I could probably be able to finish chapter 1-3 with 1 character for each chapter. Crabmaster: My Haar is not underleveled: he's a level 11 Dragonlord, he can survive anything except these stupid mages. Problem is there are like 8 in 4-Endgame (1) and most of them have ranged tomes. I'm a little further already, will continue after work. One thing this game has less compared to PoR is in-battle recruitment. There are only a few characters that are recruited on the battlefield, while in PoR there were loads. I liked that a lot, because it often required a certain character to be in your party. (what I remember: Marcia - Makalov, Haar - Jill).

I thought it would go automatically (which it did for Sothe and Micaiah).  Actually, they start with the full support.  Starting the Endgame I had 150.000 BEXP, can you take this to your 2nd playthrough?  Nope, sorry. I could create monsters that way. I could probably be able to finish chapter 1-3 with 1 character for each chapter. There isn't much in-battle recruitment in RD simply because most of the characters already know each other...

Your Haar is a little underdeveloped. By that point in the game he should be maxed or a few levels away from it. My Haar is a level 7 dragonlord and I've only just started Part IV chapter 1. but yeah I know what you mean about those ranged tomes being a pain in the ass. I didnt know what the restore tomes did the first time around and mages with sleep staffs pissed me off so bad. not so much this time though. Yeah the recruitment was really fun in the last game. The only guys worth recruiting in this one come so late in the game that its almost pointless. I've never seen that much BEXP. thats insane!!! I thought I was being conservative with mine and I only had like 40,000. I guess you could pump Haar or anyone else who was a few levels behind probably to maximum. geez.
