If it's live action Metroid is the best bet. If they are going the Pixar route they have numerous options. Although Legend of Zelda would be my first choice.

Metroid would be the smartest choice. The purpose is to make these franchises more popular and well known. Metroid has the perfect premise to do that. It would especially be able to tackle a type of action movie you just don't see in the CGI "cartoon" style they've said they're going for.

Samus could be their Tony Stark in that way.
