So today I finally bought myself a limited edition UC4 bundle. I saw the trailers, and the reviews, and being a huge fan, I simply could not wait anymore. I had to have one. So I went out after work and got myself one of these gorgeous beasts
I also bought Tearaway for it as it was pretty cheap and I loved the Vita version.
First impressions... well this would be pointless, as it is not my first impression. But the console itself looks amazing. It cost a little extra but my god I love how this looks
For the game itself, I might update the thread later on, but I still have to play it for a bit. Thus far I could only describe it as visual orgasm
Now the strange thing is that I had just realized that this is my first home console that I buy for myself while the generation is still running. I usually buy every dedicated handheld systems during launch day or at latest first year, but I never did this with home consoles. I travel a lot because of my work and family, so portables were always a natural fit for me.
I always had friends with the latest consoles and blockbuster games to play them, and borrow them for a couple of weeks, but I usually ended up purchasing one for myself after the generation was over and games became dirt cheap.I alos play a lot on my laptops, as I usually have at least one that is more gaming centric.
Now my question is, Is anyone in the same situation? Or am I just a glitch in the system? Maybe if not the PS4, what console did make you jump in far earlier then you usually do?
