Fair enough, I agree that no one is really buyng for those media features (not since PS2 came with DVD at the very beginning) BUT i would argue that you cant NOT have those features. The last console to not have those was the Cube...

See while it can do well for them, people in the end go for the system for the amazing games, the look of the system, the way it sounds and boots up (I can not describe how orgasmic it feels to hear the PS1 boot sound). Sure it could do Ninty something to toss in a DVD or BR player but if the system sells badly then those media like features or focus were wasted money, time and effortm that could cost them time and time again, like having another variable to deal with.

all they need to do is just have the basics. Just like the other two have. Hell theyve done it themselves two gens before. If they dont then be assured that people will be like "I cant use Netflix on this? My tablet has Netflix!"

A shocker really, but the NX won't be a toaster

It also won't have bread bundled in, sold separately

-The NX won't be as powerful as the next Xbox or PlayStation 5. It will be around the specs of the PS4 (not the PS4 Neo) and will not support 4K.
-The NX won't have included storage above 500 GB (it's pretty unlikely that it will even have anywhere near that).
-The NX won't have most multiplatform releases and will have few third-party exclusives.
-The NX won't support Wii discs ( I think that's a given).
-The NX won't have a wide variety of Virtual Console relases at launch.
