Uncharted 4 sold more than Halo 5 + Rise of the tomb Raider combined.

In the UK (rest of the world its going to be many times more).

Uncharted is setting the world on fire with those sales.

10m copies of Uncharted 4 lifetime sales are gonna happend, mark my words.

Maybe wait until UC4 gets numbers before making claims. UC4 might have horrible legs, no one knows yet. I would wait 6 months before making claims. Also remember UC4 would have a bigger launch since its on a platform with more then double the customers so the adds and marketing will always help it boost early sales.

You cannot call people oversensitive, when they are simply offering counterpoints and reasons to specific arguments. That's not cool.

You can't say people have come to derail and play the victim, when you yourself are actively goading people with your remarks. Calling people oversensitive for replying to a general discussion, while bringing up old (now irrelevant) predictions and poking fun at people isn't going to go down very well.

Causing trouble and trying to piss off a bunch of people? Like I said earlier, not cool. It's baiting. Stop trying to rub peoples noses in it. It's all fine and fair to compare games, but do not attack people when they offer you very reasonable counter points.

This goes for everyone. Feel free to discuss sales data. Compare games and platforms to your hearts content. Do not take it so far that it's baiting other users, especially when they are adding things to what was a reasonable discussion.

As strange as it may sound, kowenicki is actually right. Obviously it has an effect, but the effect is minimal, and not really as big as some people make it out to be. Double or triple the install base doesn't equal double or triple the amount of sales for major exclusives. Most people who are interested in Halo, already own an Xbox One. The lower sales of Halo 5 compared to previous entries in the series has more to do with its popularity than install base.

Halo 3 (September 2007)
First week global sales: 3,811,047
Xbox 360 install base: ~11 million

Halo 4 (October 2015)
First week global sales: 1,535,818
Xbox One install base: ~15 million

Indeed, franchise fatigue is why Halo's sales are dropping. Not installbase.

Doesn't look like Uncharted has peaked yet, but will have to do if it's the last game. Will be interesting to see how Uncharted 4 (first sequel on a next generation platform) stacks up against Halo in its heyday.

Yeah and those days are long gone for Halo in terms of its meta and it's sales.  

Hopefully it can return to its glory days but I can't see it happening.  In fairness bungie are gone and that's probably why. 

Meh the uncharted collection sold more than Halo 5 so far.  I'm pretty sure uncharted 4 will outsell the collection.

That's actually are really good and surprising victory for the ps4. Never thought doom would be so Playstation focused. 

Would be pretty sad if a New game don't outsell his own Remaster.

Halo 5 have a bundle sitting in the Oblivion because Microsoft wanted it to be the most expensive Bundle 450-500US$ if i remember well, while the console is being sold for 300-350US$ with a lot of games, and the game is selling after release just like any other game but i doubt Halo 5 will surpass Uncharted 2 or 3's sales, while Uncharted 4 might surpass  Uncharted 3, this already is a 66% Growth over the last game.

This is without the 95% digital sales too!!
