It has some of the best graphics Ive ever seen. Its beautiful.

There is currently no other console game that looks as good, graphically.

The world I use would be "fantastic" because I hardly think there incredible graphics. But yeah, U4's are up there.

I realize that this is basically a troll thread, but this is actually something that I've been wanting to get off my chest.

Now please, let me first preface everything by saying that, of course, the graphics in Uncharted 4 are fantastic, best looking game I think I've ever played. HOWEVER, I think some people have somewhat overstated the extent to how good it actually looks. First and foremost, I found the background environments to be the most well-made aspect of the game. The vistas in the background of many locations looked better than anything else in the game. It was pretty apparent, however, that something just looked "off" when you saw close ups of simple objects like rocks and logs. I can't really explain it, but when I saw some of these objects I could just tell that I was looking at a video game rendering of what that object was supposed to look like. It no longer seemed as if I was "actually" looking at a rock or a log or whatever. Instead, it definitely seemed very "video gamey," if that makes sense.

Anyway, now on to the character models. They were definitely very fluid, and the movement was certainly very natural. It's obvious that there was great care given to making the characters seem as real as possible. That being said, again, there was still just something "off" about them (mainly their faces). I think it had to do with their skin. I don't think we've yet reached the point where video games can effectively replicate human skin, because to me, their faces all seemed very rigid and stiff. This is a pretty small nitpick, but I haven't heard anyone else say this and it was something that I immediately noticed upon playing this game.

Finally, I heard many comments where people stated that they could not tell the difference between the cut scenes and the actual game-play parts of Uncharted 4 because they looked exactly the same. To me, it was 100% obvious when the graphics shifted from cut scene to gameplay. Could see a noticeable drop in the detail of the character models.

Anyway, I hope people don't criticize me too much, but these were just a few things that I thought needed to be said about Uncharted 4 graphics. Again, I thought they were great, just that some elements I don't think were as good as some people have stated.

You can't figure out why a character model which takes up a 4th of the screen looks more detailed than a character model that takes up a 50th of the screen?

Of course I can. That's why I didn't understand why people were saying that the cut scenes looked the same as the gameplay footage since it's clear that there's a difference.

But when you pull the camera closer to the character those details appear again. They're ths same models as ND have said time and time again. All the cutscenes are real time. The only difference is the script takes control of the character, not you.

Hmmmm. Well then idk. All I'm saying is that I could tell 100% when a cut scene ended and when gameplay resumed. If it wasn't the character models then idk what it was but it was defintely very clear to me.
