I'm interested in it. The only downside I've seen in it so far it's the contextual melee, which looks so out of place within a Doom game.

Has the MP changed since the Beta? I played the Beta and to be fairly honest, it felt like a cheap Halo. That was a Beta though. I am getting this game solely for its SP but if the MP has improved since the Beta then ill jump in.

Traded some games in for it yesterday, got Doom and Transformers Devastation for PS4. Will start Doom tonight when the kids are tucked up in bed.

Give it another 2-3 days. Bethesda did not allow any pre-release copies to reviewers, probably in fear of people retracting their pre-orders...

I agree. That's my only "major" gripe as well.

Fortunately, it's completely optional.

i dont know about halo, but this multilpayer is amazing. its the same as the beta, but more of everything (maps/demons/weapons/pick ups)

On paper the mechanic does feel out of place, but its so well executed that I find myself using it all the time. it never gets old to be honest.
