Looks like it indeed uses the new red/white branding refresh for Nintendo in North America ...

Here's the full 2DS spot, looks like they're going very hard for the kids segment:

$79.99 for a 2DS w/Mario Kart 7 ... can't say it's too expensive.

a slogan with "no play" in it? what could possibly go wrong?

Thats a horrible slogan btw... if I wasnt already clear enough on the matter.

Cool.

Fake Kaz is going to have a field day with that no play part.

It's ugly imo.

That's... a strange slogan... I don't really get it.

I'm sort of surprised, at least in the gif, that Nintendo's standard logo isn't there at all.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Nintendo logo is at the start of the commercial.

Watched it...

The commerical is fine.
The jingle is okay.
The slogan is horrible.

A lot of parents get their kids gaming devices to babysit them so why not?

Ehhhhhhh.....

That's a dumb slogan.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
