Good, the sooner the better!!
The fact that they asked him where he heard that from, instead of just ignoring the email entirely or answering with a generic response that they send to everyone WITHOUT A QUESTION, suggests that something major could go down in July.
Maybe they'll announce the July event at E3. It would still have tongues waggling at E3 while allowing them to have their own event.
Don't get your hopes up. It'll happen when ever it happens, having another 2 months of rumors about the date of an event will only lead to more anger if it doesn't happen. Let Nintendo officially announce it first.

no, cause this way they have all the attention.
I think everyone is reading into it to much. Sounds to me like they simply wanted to know where he got the misinformation from. I would as well, I haven't heard any July rumors.
I wish we had both messages translated, if we had more context we might be able to figure more out.
Bets:
1. If the Wii U sells closer to 10 million LTD by 1/3/2015 I win. If it sells closer to 9.5 million LTD by 1/3/2015 OfficerRaichu15 wins (winner gets 2 weeks of avatar control)--Lost.

Same thing I was thinking (if it's real). Why compete for attention with Sony, Microsoft and VR when they can have an event all to themselves a month later when all the hype about E3 has died down. Even then, July seems a bit too early if Nintendo is aiming for a March, 2017 release date.

Its not customer service. When my Wii U broke i got in contact with them to get it repaired via phone and email and it wasn't like that.
What's wrong with Nintendo having their own event? They've done it before with Space World and it was a successful show, and it catered to its respectful audience. E3 is slowly dying anyway. The may of LA doesn't even care about the show he indirectly supports.
