Don't worry i'm not. BF1 will be more than enough to hold me over until the inevitable stand alone release of MW Remastered.

I will buy it Day 1 and not because of MW because i have never played that Game !!! Im just not a ignorant Hater like a lot of People, when you have seen nothing except the setting of a game.
But i think i will buy Cod forever Day 1, its just freakin awesome. Yeah a Game like AW wasnt the best, but still enjoyable to play it 6-7 Days^^

And believe me, threads like this one here will barely change the Sales of a new Cod. Maybe if one Day there will be a Company that can create a better shooter, something will change and no i mean it at least for me serious, that Cod is by far the best Shooter (Multiplayer) and BF.

I can buy the COD4 Remaster on Ebay if it's a separate disc.

Because People out there judge Games on TRAILER AND with NO Gameplay, thats like saying:"ummm this food is amazing!" but they say that BEFORE they eat it !!! Thats my opinion on this. Another example, setting looks "good" = Game is AWESOME ! Food looks good = it will for 100% taste AWESOME !

Sorry but I want COD4 so bad that I'm willing to pay more even when I know why they are doing this. I spent 2 years straight playing the game last gen without touching any other game and I plan to do that with the new one.

I remember WAW came out and it was shit compared to cod4. After a few weeks everyone was back on cod4 with me.  Then mw2 came out and it was decent but again after about a year and black ops 1 came out everyone was rejoining me on cod4 lol.  

That game was just the FPS goat.  

I still play it to this day on ps3 and the servers are still active. 

What I thought at first:
I can buy a COD4 Remastered code off of some pleb who bought IW and doesn't want the other. But what if the other 6 MP maps are held within IW DLC? You know, DLC you can only buy if you have IW installed on your system?
This is why I need a standalone release.
Until I get it I'll be playing Battlefield 1. This year EA/Dice deserves to stomp Activision and I hope they will, because the product they are releasing looks 100000X better.

Are you also going to complain about Halo Collection not selling each game standalone or the same for the Uncharted Collection and all the similars?

I dont think I get what's really going on here. I'm generally not a fan of any COD. basically not a fan of any kinda game that is released annually. But I don't understand the hate here. you are sounding like it's already written in stone that COD:IW is guaranteed going to be a horrible game and isn't worth being sold on its own merits. Funny thing is, even if they didn't throw in the remastered game, COD will still sell more than 10M copies regardless.

And all this against a game no one has actually played. Guess it's really true, when you are on top it's more interesting wantng them to fail.

I'm just gonna wait for the standalone release, ESPECIALLY after seeing Battlefield 1.
