Contrary to popular belief, these CoD games don't have one year dev cycles, so if fans didn't want future warfare after BO3, there's nothing Infinity War could have done really. Wouldn't be surprised if next years game is Advanced Warfare 2 by Sledgehammer lol.

Honestly though, if things don't improve for Infinite Warfare (meaning perception, ect.) then I think it may be time for COD to take a year off and regroup like Assassins Creed.

Well I really want to get both but I think I will end up getting BF1 because I will be able to play it with ea accsess so I can try it out and plus titanfall 2 will be a futuristic shooter which I usually enjoy more but then I will have something a little different but I really want MWHD

That's because infinite warfare does look last gen. They've barely updated the cod4 engine they developed 10 years ago.

Meanwhile Dice have continually improved theirs. Capable of beasts like star wars battlefront and now this.

It's about fucking time Activision funded a new call of duty engine. Uncharted 4 is going to put that series graphics to shame.

Advanced Warfare was a good step up over Ghosts though. It actually put Depth of Field to good use to hide the low quality 2D assets in the distance. :P

The game engine needs to be thrown away and Activision should take a page out of EA's book! One Engine to rule them all.

The new CoD looks meh at best. BF1 looks cool as hell (that doesn't sound right) but I know that it probably wont have a single player campaign. Even so, I think BF1 easily edges it out and the trailer made me pumped
