Obligatory: Battlefield and Call of Duty are completely different types of games with different play styles.
If you're comparing trailers(by visuals or production values) then BF1 is far superior IMO

Not gonna judge since neither have shown (enough) MP gameplay, but since I know what to expect from CoD due to its setting I'm going with IW for now. Also it has a Zombies mode, I doubt BF1 will have a good co-op mode. Don't really give a shit about both Single Players.

I'm not sure that the comments are well representative of how the sales will pan out. Even taking CoD 4 Remastered out of the picture, Call of Duty will still probably sell more just because it is, indeed, Call of Duty. Regardless of whether the competition has something more unique to offer. I hope that I'm wrong, though, given that BF1 turns out to be much, much better. |
COD will sell better because it's a bigger brand but I don't think it's going to be by a huge margin based on the fan reaction. Also, it's not only the comments COD IW already has half a million dislikes.
Just by having WW1 setting Battlefield 1 beats the hell crap out of Infinity
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

You're probably right in terms of those CoD sales being higher by a smaller margin this time. Definitely won't be like BF4, where Ghosts sold double.
As for the dislike bar, people tend to overreact. I'm sure a good chunk of those who disliked that video will end up buying IW anyway. XD
bet: lost
BF1 looks good but its sure to have all the usual pc issues with servers etc lag spikes etc. whilst COD is usually hassle free and will sell tons more
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I would say this if there wants another choice this year. But now the people that like fps have another game to buy that somewhat similar so I'm not really sure.
I'll probably end up getting both of them. Battlefield looks a lot better for sure though.
Why cant People add a Polloption for BOTH, damn it !!! :D
