I do agree. I don't consider Super Mario 3D World to be a true 3D Mario. Seems like the 2D Mario essense brought into the 3rd dimension. Even some segments are predominately resemble a 2D Mario game. I don't have a problem with people who do consider it a true 3D Mario though.

The Zelda situation does really suck though. It is not an exclusive.

100% agree with you Lucas. Wii U is not only the least succesful Nintendo console, but the one with the worse library. Their lack of ambition and mismanagemente were their major problem, and I'm not confident anymore they will learn anything for the succesor.

The Nintendo that treated with respect their big franchises are not here. Only remasters, delays, droughts and unasked low quality products. Very few exceptions, but majority of the Wii U small library is uninteresting.

..sucks but also too bad. wiiU is a sales flop. nintendo shouldn't make bad decisions just to appease some internet haters. delaying zelda to NX is the right decision for the business. if you love nintendo games than you should at some level be understanding of the situation nintendo is in. you'll still get the game on wiiU,.. a cross gen port doesn't make the game any less available or fun for you. but a cross gen port does mean more sales potential for nintendo and a good way to propell NX isn't a more viable platform than wiiU became. ...and that means nintendo can continue to make games you want to play.

Genuinely, Wind Waker HD was far from uninteresting... I know it's your opinion, but if that's how you truly feel, that makes me sad

3D world is a isometric platformer that mimics a old 2D mario game.

It doesnt "feel" like a real 3D mario game where you have free camra movement, no time limits, and are able to run around as you like in all 3 dimensions.

Yes.

I consider 3D World a 3D platformer, regardless of the technical meanings of the genre. I mean, didn't people say the early Crash games are 3D platformers? Why does every genre has to have set standards? It's like saying Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is not a Rock album because it uses orchestra. Even if all these things are technically true, they're still great! Why continue to nitpick? 3D World is still one of the best exclusives this gen and the second highest scoring non-remastered exclusive (unless UC4 falls by a point) in Metacritic.
