Forums - Nintendo - No true and exclusive 3D Mario and Zelda on WII U

What does it matter if Zelda Wii U will also be released on NX? It is still a completely new entry in the Zelda series. Only now people will get to choose how to play the game.

That's my two favourite series in gaming and seriously it pisses me off.

Zelda:   only uninteresting remakes (WW) or lazy ports (TP) and finally a new original game that is also on NX and delayed to the maximum.

N64 had two exclusive  original Zelda, Gamcube had 1, Wii had 1, Wii U has zero.

3D Mario:   only the spin off 3D World on Wii U but this isn't the same thing and category.

On N64 we had Mario 64, on GC Mario Sunshine and on the Wii the two Mario galaxy.

The way Nintendo treated the Wii U was very bad. They basically gave up ambitions with their main series.

Great games like Xeenoblade and Bayonetta 2 saves the day or the solo adventures, it's the desert outside of that. For the multi Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon saves the console from being a bigger failure.

it got splatoon, mario maker, nintendoland, star fox, pokken tournament, legy city undercover, pikmen 3, captain toad tt, zombiu ... all franchises not available on wii though

BS imho, 3D World is a regular 3D Mario, people set their expectations too high.

I don't mind Nintendo giving some of their other franchises a chance to shine.

Yeah, like Metroid?  Do'h!

Lube Me Up

Well, you can always enjoy Hyrule Warriors and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash.

HW is awesome :(

It's safe to call the Wii and GC had a much better library. I also miss a mario strikers fame, which is by far the most ambitious mario sports game series.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Also no "true exclusive" for the N64. You can also play it on the DS, 3DS, Wii, Wii U and probably NX. ;)

Well but it launched 10 years earlier on N64, while Zelda U might even launch earlier on NX.

Lol. Why Mario 3D world is not a 3D Mario?

Water under the bridge, bro.

3D World is an isometric platformer. Let's not get into the differences. It's not a 3D platformer. That's a fact.
