 well, you will have to press x, it's the 'confirm' button. ;)

 the first 10 hours, you can button smash if you will, but you will die in every battle if you do after. So I would recommend you practice your magic and power your character up via materia add-ons.

 Please listen to me and try normal mode. I played about 40 hours in Japanese version (bought it on eBay the day it came out), and never finished the game, because I couldn't figure out fusion. The US normal mode is hard than the Japanese version by far. And monster response time is a KILLER.

Yep, I'm starting to get mildly owned relatively early on, some I'm definitely considering just starting over on normal

You can't just simply mash the x button to beat the game. Even in some of the earlier missions on NORMAL mode will get you killed doing so. Besides, there are so many ways to play the game anyways.

Serously, I'm thinking of starting to adopt the /sarcasm that so many people use.Either that or just change my sig to "I'm being sarcastic", because I pretty much always am.

HP 9999 (max 9999)
MP 819 (max 999)
AP 250 (max 999, but I don't us AP that much, other than dodge)

I get hit with attacks of 9999, so I die instantly.

I m not sure Crisis deserve a 9/10
I would have put a 8/10 at very best from some preview I read

(except if u are a big FF7 fan then YES, u will love it)

The combat was a little weird, like you can't mash on X... you have to time it out. Still, I thought the 15-20 minutes I spent playing it on my room mate's friend's PSP yesterday was pretty cool, though load times take FOREVER on the 'fat' PSP (have you seen the comparison of this game between fat and slim PSP's?)

loadtime, there's load time? :P

If you think there's load time (which only happens if you go from chapter to chapter), you shouldn't play any other PSP games, it will kill you.

with almost no loadtime between going in and out of battle, that makes Crisis Core one of the fastest PSP loading game there is
