You know, considering how much discussion has been going around and the almost endless threads, how can anyone dismiss NX as irrelevant?

It's a 4 TFLOP version of the no.1 console on the market which will have the best versions of all the big gun third party games like Grand Theft Auto VI.

Sold at a reasonable price ($399). To be honest if you're in the market for a PS4, I'd go with Neo every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Double the GPU power for a mere $100 more works out to a whopping $2.78 more/month even if you only get usage out of it for 3 years.

It's more likely the Neo simply phases out the vanilla PS4 at some point entirely.

Well, I'll wait until I know what exactly NX is before I judge it's relevancy in any way.

It'd be almost impossible for NX to come anywhere close to the popularity of the PS4, people are fine with a traditional home console like the ps4, they don't want something "different", and for the sake of Nintendo I hope the NX is traditional and not some gimmicky garbage

It's going to be near impossible to get the third parties onboard with 50+ million ps4's already in the wild, as a PlayStation/Xbox/PC gamer what can the NX offer that will make people move to it as a primary system and not just for the Nintendo exclusives? And without the third party support the NX will not sell very well, however it will almost certainly do better than the WiiU.
