I think it's because cars are relatively cheap in th EU. And with Ferrari, Lambo, Aston, Porsche and Masserati on your doorstep it's hard to not like cars.

PS: ioi is obsessed because he helps propel Lewis Hamilton around the track.

Everyone loves cars !! same thing in America nascar, F1 racing ect .Europeans just has better quality cars in my opinion . Japanese pretty good quality cars too.

 Im from Europe and I dont like cars ... but than my favorite console is the PSP , so I might not be the best example :P

Europeans and cars ??? Whats up with americans and cars... yes my american side (I´m half american) also wants things bigger and faster but I seriously don´t ger NASCAR... why are they driving in circles ??? Some europeans are really into cars but the same goes for americans... but in europe its more about style and technical stuff... in the USA things need to be impressive on the outside... I´m not big with cars but for some reason there are many people in europe who don´t play videogames at all... untill it comes to racing simulations... I guess they all dream of beeing a F1 star or feeling the power of a expencive sportscar...

euro cars are great. Lamborghini, Ferarri, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes. Etc.

mostly Germany and Italy are best IMO.

 I can't speak for everyone else, but as far as I'm concerned it's for pulling the boat to the lake.  That is an essential part of my summer.
