Forums - Gaming - Do you have a phobia that prevents you from playing a game?

I hate spiders.  I'm terrified of them.  I had to give the controller to my wife to get pass the spider in Resident Evil 2 when Leon was beneath the police station.  I hid behind the couch when she did it.  Literally.

I was about make a thread just like this, but with a different preventer. Now I have to wait a week.

I do hate when roaches are overly big and animated though.

Hum... When I was 14 years old, I could not even watch a movie with too many blood or gore scenes. I remember back on those days, a friend of mine got Resident Evil Survivor for PS1, and it was my first contact with a horror video-game. The game was fun, but the bloody zombies remained on my head for a while.

However, that disappeared after some time. Today I can play games like Dead Space or any other horror game without any problem.

No not really.

None that I can think of at the moment.

I don't like zombies. I'm not really scared of them, not as individual entities, but the idea behind zombies, of what they potentially represent, makes me uncomfortable.

That is to say, I'm not scared while I'm playing a game about zombies. I played Dead Island just fine. Films about zombies, I usually find humorous, even when they're trying to be serious. The main reason I typically avoid them, though, is that I will probably dream about them later and dream zombies are A BILLION TIMES more scary than zombies from movies and games.

I don't know why but I tend to dream about zombies quite a bit and those dreams are never enjoyable.

I have a phobia of games like Xenoblade, cause if I do, I'll be so addicted that I will have stayed up for 69 hours playing the game.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I can't play Resident Evil 2 because I'm afraid of police cars.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Umm... why specifically 69?

Best number ever.

I hate bugs... so I avoid Bethesda's games.
