Sony typically has a strangle hold on the majority of sales and J games. PC is more of something that is currently rising and getting stronger recently with JRPG's. I imagine for JRPG games that being on PS4 only was looking too expensive before but spreading out like they have recently on PC may allow the funds and market to make the jump. PS4 future with JRPG's looks extremely strong but it will also be spread out among other devices too unlike in the past.

Either way, Sony having strong support with JRPG's on PS4 is good for everyone who wants bigger budget JRPG's (not talking AAA, just in general).

Doesn't look that bad, I actually think they were slanted quite nicely.

Atelier, Persona, Fairy Fencer, SAO... BRV is from a studio that screws good stuff, but the Fujishima designs and gameplay screenshots might represent better devs at work there...

The PS4 still has to catch the PS2 and PS1 in terms of JRPGs, which is going to be difficult seeing that that genre doesn't have the same pull as it did in the past. In terms of RPGs (both eastern and western) is going to be the winner, but I'm not sure about JRPGs alone.

This. Hopefully there never will unless they are available everywhere else as well...

The saviour of jrpgs.  If you like these games and want them to support the jrpg niche buy a ps4 and buy the games.

I like some JRPG's but not all of them just like I love RTS games but not all of them, regardless I'll still get them on my PC. Also the genre is far from being niche.
