In addition to what Sevenj said, it's also to make sure they are a lead story in the USA's evening news.

People remember the first and last of things - worse place to be is in the middle. Microsoft goes first, and usually Sony goes last.

I just hope they will be some suprises this year and not everything leaked like the last few.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

We all knew it would be on Monday 13, just like Sony's, and Nintendo will go on Tuesday at roughly the same time as MSoft. They have been following the same routine since as far as I can remember.

But at least this marks the start of the race to E3.

OT: I really can't believe E3's almost here. Been travelling for 7 months so it feels like the PS trifecta (FFVII+TLG+Shenmue), Xbox BC and.... Nintendo puppets were only months ago.

I think Microsoft will have a great conference and go all in this year.
