It looks a lot better than BvS. Still, I kinda liked BvS so I'm sure I'll like this. Jared Leto looks ace on the trailer imo, more similar to the comic books. And Harley Queen is great too. It'll be a nice change of pace to have a more lighthearted movie after the darker MoS and BvS.

I don't think Disney pays them directly but some wining and dining goes a long way. Grace Randolph was talking about that - Disney treats critics very well.

For Missions Impossible Ghost Protocol critics were flown to Dubai for a special screening. And I think that explains the disparity in critics' RT and users' RT approval.

Margot Robbie was born to play Harley Quinn.

Casting is really being spot on on DC movies. Affleck and Cavill are good in their roles, but Margot Robbie is something else. She IS Harley Quinn!

i think i got why i am feeling this, they are just showing off some characters, not an actual decent movie. "look! Harley Quin, and she is hot!, ohh Will Smith is being Will Smith and kind of being Dead Shot!, ohh and we got the Joker!! yes its the Joker! be hyped!" and so on.... i dont see an actual movie here, and while i appreciate trailers not spoiling the story for movies (looking at you BvS and The Martian), i just dont see actual context here. 

all i see is The Joker given lines to say that will try to make him look and sound like a psycho, Margot Robbie being hot and over acting, and will smith just trying to be a bad ass. 

Liked it. But they clearly changed the tone of the trailer when you compare it to the previous two. More humor and action scenes. Surely a response to the critics of BvS. Good to see that they are learning some lessons with that disaster.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that the movie will be bad. The trailers are good, the movie is a big question mark. I have the impression that this movie will either be amazing or total garbage. One extreme or the other.

After BvS, a lot of the DC cinematic universe future is on the hands of this movie, so they are trying to make it more mainstream. So they are showing more of Batman and the Joker (the only two really well know characters in the film), showing a lot of Will Smith (the only really mainstream star), a hot girl, action and jokes.

BvS was a total trainwreck, of course. But, buried deep down, we had a good movie there. They started filming it as a Man of Steel sequel, changed to a Batman vs Superman movie and then added a bunch of the Justice League story there. It's just to much things on a single movie. Even the editing was confuse, there was too much stuff. The plot largely doesn't make any sense and is full of holes, but that's because it's basically a Frankenstein monster. Suicide Squad won't have this problem, so it can be a good movie with a more concise and direct plot: "Bunch of bad guys are put on a superhuman squad in exchange to reduced jail time. As bad guys, they do a lot of stupid stuff and get in trouble with the Joker and Batman". Simple. With BvS, I would need 3 posts to explain the damn thing.

agreed,.. she is perfect.

but overall i'm not so sure about this movie. margot will be the star of the show but i don't think she can save the movie.
