Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Emily Rogers rumor: Zelda U to have a playable female, fully voice acted, releasing NX and Wii U

If this was true, I'd be fine. If there was a narrative or mechanical justification like this, and if it was good and well implemented, I'd be fine with this.

I think we should all wait to see how Nintendo implements it before going on with whether it was a good or a bad idea, to be honest.

I will end this discussion with this: the creator said she wasn't that is why I disregard the artist since the creator has the final word

Again, if you want to go on with the discussion, just send me a PM. Because saying you will end things when the final word isn't satisfactory to both discussing parties doesn't help at all.

I wasn't trying to get the final word in this discussion and if I came that way I apoligize but I just don't think will get anywhere with this discussion

It's fake:

Alright there, we'll drop the discussion. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable or anything.

Lol so somebody completely guesses something obvious and now they are a "verified" inside source.
Standards not high for Nintendo things it seems

I mean to be clear, I don't think they will do anything like this. They did something similar in Ocarina of Time with the child/adult dynamic, and I liked it there because it was functionally supposed to be exclusive to that game.

Then they made Link older in the two worst games in the series because people misunderstood this functionality and demanded more. (to be clear, they aren't the worst games because he's older, but you know, still hate it)

If it's not done like this, and I'm sure it won't be, it definitely will be a bad idea. But like I said, it's the least bad move they could do with the franchise, especially when it's ignorable. It's aggrivating that it's there, but no VA would have been game crippling, so I'm more than willing to give some to get some in that exchange.

Hes always been a boy/man.

A link thats suddenly a girl, would break away from what your brand is, and people expect from a main line zelda game.

Its the wrong way to do it.

If you want a strong female lead that saves the world, dont just force a reskin of link, into the body of a female.

Make a new character, and a new game for that, instead.

like i said a few posts back, dual worlds is a common theme in Zelda, Light/Dark, Future/Past, etc. It could simply be that the opposite world in this game has the characters switch gender.

That would actually be an interesting story/gameplay mechanic if more than just gender changes between worlds.  The porn art community would probably doubly like the idea of an opposite world with r63 characters.

What do you mean with this particular sentence?

Lol at people doubting emily.

Female Link is a problem for me. I like choosing female characters, but the Hero of Hyrule and the name Link wont fit with a girl. But I like playing as girls

Besides that, she also said Zelda U news will be coming soon. Hype?

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
