I don't think OoT64/Wii comparison is in place, but I definitely looking forward to see Zelda U/NX sales compared with TP GC/Wii.

Well you see, here is the problem with your way of thinking on this. The Wii/GC was a simultaneous release, so adding them against Zelda 64 is justified. However you cannot include the remakes in this equation due to console install base.
The amount of potential buyers for the 3DS is a lot higher than that of the WiiU, so it is a no brainer which will sell more. Your logic for this comparison is very flawed to say the least. |
I bought both, the Wii and Gamecube version of the game. Im pretty sure plenty other people did the same. Since they were mirrored and had different controls, it was like playing 2 games. Still not as good as OOT.

I played TP 6 times already, still less than OOT though, I enjoyed both, I still don't know the better game is
In terms of sales maybe TP and Wii U don't have enough time on their hands to achieve it, most likely TP will pass 1M on Wii U though
Yeah all total it will never happen.
OOT should have sold at least an extra million between all vc release and bonus disc on GameCube
Switch!!!
Twilight Princess was kind of meh.
It was not exciting to play like Ocarina of Time is.
Plus even with inferior gfx tech, Ocarina of Time is still prettier.
The horse part of TP was interested, but the rest of TP is something I'd rather wipe my ass with than play.

BTW in some parts of Po Valley, Northern Italy, "ocarina", besides the musical instrument, is also (probably due to its shape) a dialectal euphemism for "cunt".
