You want to talk about a Zelda game that NEEDS to be there launch day!

Just wait for the handheld port of Twilight Princess. It makes perfect sense to make one, you could reuse assets from the Wii U game, and well... yeah, it makes sense.

Being that Nintendo didn't even opt to develop this game, I don't really see that happening. One never really knows though.

*edit* I also hope no generation from here on will have Nintendo feeling the need to port TLOZ anymore. 

Depends if it gets another remake it might surpass it. On the other hand it sold well enough and critically and status wise it will probably never surpass OOT, which is renowned being one of the best games ever.

If it just releases in some type of way on every single gen, lol. I just hope this is actually the end of it. It's been on consoles consecutively for 3 gens, time to move on...

Ninty flagship games have very long legs, so, even if it won't beat OoT, it could still sell up to another half million and largely exceed 1M on Wii U alone.
If any, more than decent sales of TP on Wii U too tell us that not only Ninty should also make a NX version of it, but it should make a Wii U and a NX version of OoT too.

OOC has been on four, but I agree this game has been on enough platforms. The Legend of Zelda shouldn't follow the Resident evil course in my opinion.

4? Actually released or VC? Cause VC I'm fine with. I just don't think main development teams need to spend time making old games new again every gen.

If they remade OoT in the same manner that we've seen with the Unreal fan creations then kiss figuring out how much life times sales would be because the gaming world will erupt in fan fare flames.

It looks so beautiful. I can only hope.
