Forums - Gaming - How can anyone dissmiss the graphics of FF15? Not the devolopers but your Consoles are too weak for this game #Reality

Didn't they actually said that the framerate drop its just something they did for the demo and won't happen in the actual game, rendering this whole discussion useless?

A demo that isn't really a part of the main game which features gameplay not the bling? Yeah it really worries me so much. :)

Says you? Its still a showcase of the game. Apparantly it presents no technical evolution since the last demo? Sure, no need to worry.

Just expectate as the game releases to terrible reviews if it comes out like that.

Not only does it show no evolution its a complete step back from the last demo in every way.

Caught the edit. Haha

"Slice of the game". Hmmm...

I think you worry a lot. It is what it is. It's harder to create a stand alone demo and to think it's hard enough to create a demo from a "slice of the game."

If a song snippet features gospel back up singers, I don't think you should be expecting a gospel album is what it would be. That's the key. It could be anything.

You grossly misrepresent the demo for what it's not trying to achieve.

If someone asks why I'm using an alt account, CGI and Truckusaurus got me a temp approval until I get my iconic and notorious "kurasakiichimaru" account back. :p

It's really beautiful to look at, hands down. People complain way too much these days about everything. But hey, look at it that way: if consumers wouldn't complain, maybe companies wouldn't even try hard.

How is the console's fault considering the game started as a Ps3 developed title?

Ambitions > Tech and even current consoles seem not good enough. (theorically)

Game was not done from the ground up on new gen...... It was half developed on last gen tech and then redone on new gen..... It looks way better than versus xiii did on ps3.... Game looks okay, it isn't the best looking game period.... But it looks good.... I def don't think it pushes ps4 to it's limit.....

Honestly examples of amazing looking newgen games with huge environments are def starwars, infamous, and soon uncharted 4

Is it really hard to acknowledge both sides of the story? The game, as of now, has some technical aspects that are more advanced than any other comparable game on consoles. But the game also has shortcomings that are obvious and shouldn't be ignored. It is all about the developer priorities and what they want to achieve.

About the 10 years this game was in development, like some people said: that's only half true. While the start of development might have been 2006 and now we have 2016 which makes 10 years, SE didn't work on it all the entire time. When they revealed it, which was way too early and they admitted that themselves, they had only a couple of ideas and a logo, nothing else. You could think that they began working on it seriously in the years after that, but they didn't come over early build ups. Staff got pulled to other projects that were considered more relevant through all those ten years, like the FFXIII sequels and the KH games. In those times, only a handful of developers might have been working on it, if at all. And you also have to take into account that Nomura might be a brilliant designer, but he tends to perfectionism and is never satisfied with his own work, so he rebuilds or cuts a lot of scenes/concepts that were already finished. That's why the game changed in every trailer that was shown in the meantime. With Tabata set in place, the progress came faster. So yeah, assuming that they developed it for 10 years isn't the whole picture.

I edit alot, no need to worry and expect to see it alot. I do it cause of people who like to deconstruct every little piece of my sentence with pointless arguments and because i tend to typo alot. I avoided that argument that would go "oh but this isnt actually piece of the actual final game. This is an exclusive area. (even though we know that final area.)". Pointless argument.

And a preview of an album is indicative of the song its trying to play. I don't know why this snippet of the game should not be considered to be the game. That is the whole point of it isnt it?

It's not that hard to create a good demo. Theres plenty of good demos. What is difficult is to be able to look at FF as a special case of sorts where we should accept everything just cause its FF.

The part here that creates the controversy is that they (SE) came out and said that this is not a part of FFXV but rather something they threw together in about 2 months to give you an idea for the "feel of the game."  I personally took it as a gameplay demo and largely ignored any of the technical deficiencies, especially given the small production window they used to put this platinum demo together.

All that said, they definitely should've put forth a better showcase for the game they are releasing in 5 months.
