How is that relevant though? The series began to see releases on Xbox thanks to the intervention from Microsoft and also because it looked like a nice deal to Square Enix. Same thing would happen with the NX if it could make a similar scenario. 



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

It could change given the circumstances. Final Fantasy XV is already on two rival platforms, so the option is open for Nintendo as well.

I'll say yes, SE want 10m sales and have been aiming for more platforms since XIII.

I'm honestly not sure why people is so confident nx will be a success and more powerful than x1-ps4, probably wishful thinking. Last time they tried the most powerful console, they released the gc...

That being said, ffxv could release there if it has decent power, but I doubt it's Square's priority
