Speaking of, we don't even have a release date for the movie yet. But at least the game still comes out on 20 April. Looks like the movie is going to totaly miss the April school holiday window, so I wonder if it will be delayed here until the July school holidays. July is possibly better since it won't be going head to head with Capt America, Zootopia, Robinson Crusoe, Jungle Book or the tail end of Kung Fu Panda 3. And if the movie happens to be bad and does poorly in the USA it might not even get a theatrical release here.

I just completed the air combat section. Lots of fun. The game is visually ridiculous. YouTube videos don't do it justice.

If you're talking about Ratchet, which I assume you are, the game released today (April 12th) and the movie releases April 29th.
A few hours in and I love it! It looks gorgeous and the controls are very tight and responsive. I played all of the other R&C games except the first one and this is not at all less responsive because of the 30fps cap. I hope Insomniac patches in a Photomode in the future. This is way too beautiful not to have one.
I even made a vid of some parts of my playthrough(playing on hard) and edited them in Sharefactory. It's very unfortunate the quality turned into crap when I uploaded on Youtube though..
