I'm pretty much 50/50 but if forced to guess I'd go with 2016. Sales aren't great, rumours are ramping up (even if many are fake), and Nintendo has revealed and released a console in the same year in recent history (Wii), so there's at least a precedent there.

The one thing that makes me doubt this is the timespan is pretty rushed - reveal to E3 to launch in a matter of months. Not much time to get the word out and no room for error. It would basically only give them one E3 and a couple of directs to showcase what they have to offer (whereas with the WiiU they had two E3 showcases - a reveal and some proof of concept demos in 2011, followed by a full blowout in 2012 ahead of its launch). Risky.

If we had more than just a codename then I'd be more confident in a 2016 prediction but we don't... oh well.

NX getting fully revealed this spring and launching during the holidays isnt much different than PS4/XB1 getting revealed in Feb/May 2013 and releasing that holiday.

It seems like alot of people forget that those consoles released the same year they were revealed.
