Dark Souls 3 will most likely sell over 500K in April NPD, 400K minimum. And with the massive UK gap, i don't expect USA to be much better, PS4 version should still sell similar to 3:1 compared to XBO.

I think 300K are absolutely the minimum for PS4 version of Dark Souls. While yes, Ratchet should do well, is not gonna be THAT well... Even The Last of Us remastered sold less than 300K in July NPD.

 

PS4 version of Dark Souls will easy beat it.

I think R&C will beat DS. DS is only a small percentage of gamers that have enough patience to play it, while R&C is a game that most people can play.

A triumphant return for Sony & Insomniac - ‘Ratchet & Clank’ for PS4 hits No 1.

Sony and Insomniac make a triumphant return with a first outing on PS4 for ‘Ratchet & Clank’, the first in the series to debut at No1. The game debuts just a few days before the movie (UK release date is 29th April). The game series began back in week 45, 2002 on PS2 with ‘Ratchet and Clank’ having held the previous best week 1 for All Formats chart postion (No15). In terms of week 1 sales units the record was held by 2009’s PS3 ‘Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time’, but the current release beats this by a factor of 3.

Sales of this new R&C are more than 3 times what the best selling game in the series was.

Game is going to do very well.... also the movie tie in, once that is out a new generation of gamers will be picking up R&C and getting into the series.

They are probably working a sequel right now (I know I would be if I was a dev, and hit it out the ball park).

Are you kidding? Why should they move to Sony, especially since they have virtually no name to it. And I don't know what people were expecting, I mean remedy title's have never been known to sell millions at a time. Even alan wake struggled to surpass 1 million.

He was talking about Multiplataform, and have Name, or don't have name really doesn't matter, if the game follow the pattern of what sell in the Console so it will sell well, look at The Witcher, the game had a name on Xbox, and PC, never went to Playstation, The Witcher 3, sold more on PS4, than on Xbox One, or PC, Projeckt's Statement was that 30% of the Sales were for PC (just a few months after release), VG Chartz, have a gap of 3 to 1 (against Xbox One's Sales), in favor of the PS4.

I knew it was gonna sell well, but NOT THAT GOOD. :p
Wonder what NPD gonna be... >250K ? Maybe 300K?
Anyway happy is doing good, we need more games like this

I still think Dark Souls III on PS4 will outsell it. I think Dark Souls III will be >350K and ReC <300K.
They will be closer than i thought though...
