In terms of week 1 sales units the record was held by 2009’s PS3 ‘Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time’, but the current release beats this by a factor of 3.

Sales of this new R&C are more than 3 times what the best selling game in the series was.

Game is going to do very well.... also the movie tie in, once that is out a new generation of gamers will be picking up R&C and getting into the series.

They are probably working a sequel right now (I know I would be if I was a dev, and hit it out the ball park).
