Yeah, every GwG release is X1 BC compatible since a few months back.

The funny thing is its actually possible more people will play this game via X1 BC than the actual X1 port. Given the X1 port didn't sell well and millions of people have Gold.

Well,  and for people that upgrade to an XboxOne. They will still be able to play their old games.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Will this be a daily thing? I doubt it'll continue, but its nice seeing how many games we've had in March, and with rumour's RDR is coming in, it could be a really good thing. Now all Microsoft needs to do is fix the multi-disk issue, and they're golden!

Witcher 2 is multi disc.

Problem solved!

Not exactly.

Some multi disc games like Witcher 2, Max Payne 3, and LA Noire were programmed differently for Games on Demand. They were designed not to require disc swaps.

If multi disc games come to X1 I imagine they will not be avaiable on the market place of 360. They will likely figure it out if they haven't done so already given there are several notable multi disc games.

Hope so. Mass Effect 2 and 3 are among my favourite last gen games. Hoping for an announcement at E3.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Why on earth would Microsoft want backwards compatibility if a superior version of the game is already available on the very same platform ?

Probably because its GFG. And its free, so for people who didn't upgrade, who cares?

If its a notable game, then they should put the 360 version up as well.

If people want to use their 360 version let them have that option. I assume it requires little effort from MS given its emulation.

If anything this is a great sign from the publisher side. Especially Deep Silver in this case.

They could have easily said "no BC games for you, if you want to play them on X1 you will have to buy our newly remastered versions". That's a pretty good service to gamers honestly.

Good question. I got the new version of Castle Crashers for free because I already owned the 360 version.  Then, they made the old version BC with the 360.  It didn't bother me but I didn't understand it, either.
