Ahahahahahaha boy oh boy!

Oh boy oh boy. Amiibo gets shittier and shittier

What point in the video does AbDallah say that? Just wondering.

Another bad usage of amiibo, disgusting.

Edit: hopefully the mode is obtainable after finishing the game and is not amiibo exclusive (can't watch the video right now)

And there's another way content is locked behind an amiibo. Pathetic.

Well, I hope that you could unlock a hardcore mode achieving all medals, like in SF64. If not, well, I'll be pissed.

On the bright side, the game now looks awesome. And some meaty and great info about that gameplay:

1) The main path is 10 levels.
2) It seems like there's 20 levels in the game. I'm not sure why, but he has got no scores for 9 gaps. I didn't see the entire playthrough (watching a movie right now), so I'm not sure if he explains why is that.

So, well, I'm happy about the content now, with 20 levels and medal collectibles. Not happy about that black ship locked into Amiibo. Again, let's not jump into conclusions, maybe we'll unlock that beating the game. I'll take a "wait and see" approach.

Let me go grab the popcorn.

So instead of forcing you to play the game to be able to play the more difficult mode Nintendo actually let you purchase the mode for free when you get an awesome Amiibo? What 's the problem?

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

But is there confirmation of that?As far as we know, it just could be the easier way to unlock the difficulty.I mean, I do hope thats the case

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
