The gamepad was the whole reason why the Wii U wasn't a "traditional console" in the first place. If Nintendo is going to go with a conventional console, put everything they have into the specs and give gamers a Wii U pro-controller in the box.

The gamepad like controller is a standalone device for the handheld.

Okay so doesnt the PS 4.5 (if it is real) put the NX on a very wierd spot ? If its weaker than the 4.5 and cost only 40 dolars less (rummors indicate 4.5 will be 399) this will be very very bad for Nint.

Also is the handheld part of NX suposed to come integrated at the normal console or will it be sold separatedly ?

it has to be doulbe the power of ps4 if it wants to survive since the ps4 and x1 are already weak in comparison to current gen cards.

AMD is making ARM chips now. They could easily be more powerful than the PS4's AMD APU. That part is plausible.
