Forums - Microsoft - Killer Instinct Season 3 Pricing Information - $60 XB1, $50 PC (All Seasons) - Retro outfits

So if I'm reading this right it's $40 for dlc and it's been 3 years and they still haven't released all the original killer instinct characters.

I'd rather them release a $60 game at the Xbox launch than having them deliver characters in this fashion.

I've got everything from season 1 and 2 but it's just getting confusing. Which edition should I get and do I get any of the bonus stuff that newcomers get? I want everything--including the outfits.

If you have Season 1 Ultra and Season 2 Ultra, then just get Season 3 Ultra.

The Supreme Edition doesn't clarify whether or not all the costumes from previous seasons are included.

I was wondering how they would do Rash's Retro Costume. Was hoping they would have added a 8bit styled Rash.

So one bashing it for having yearly DLC and new editions just like SF IV?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

SFIV split the audience every time they released a new version. KI is selling new characters, costumes, etc.

Does your pc version give you access to the console version?

Yeah

I see so you won't have classics on console unless bought separately. I didn't know you could buy the separately.

What if you got ki s1 free on Xbox live, can you play it free on pc with a gold subscription?

Classics are a part of the Ultra bunduru. They're not sold separately.

Nice

One good thing about KI--even if you don't buy the new characters and content, you can still play against them.
