Yeah, you and I both know that isn't going to happen. Two seperate industries and two seperate consumers. What will happen is Sony and Valve will just take over the void, and Nintendo will fall and become third party.

This is all just too much for me to absorb right now. I just don't want to believe this is the future of Nintendo. I've got my fingers crossed, hoping against hope that they change course... or something.

People, just wait, JESUS. 

1-It's not confirmed and people are already treating it as if it was confirmed;

2-It's a devkit, it can change A LOT from what it is (IF IT'S REAL) to what we will be using this holiday season;

3-We don't even know how it works, what if it has Tactus screens ? what if buttons are magnetized so that certain games can use the full screen on the controller ? what if it works in a way nobody thought it'd work ?

It's ok.  My idea is that Nintendo wants to set a new record for the lowest console sales.  This will take some hard work on their part, as they will have the Virtual Boy to contend with.



Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).

Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

Lol, let's wait for the actual reveal before jumping to conclusions and thinking this is real immediately. I mean, it could be, but even then this is a dev-kit unit and the design can easily change by the time it's actually revealed. Even if this WAS the final design, you haven't even seen it in action yet or how it would even work.

I feel like this is going to make a good crow eating thread. I'll come back to this later when the NX is actually revealed to see.

You expect face buttons on the final unit when it's lacking on a dev kit?

 

No face buttons, now Nintendo really did dun it...

I didn't say anything about face buttons lol. I simply said the design can change. 

Also, even if it has no face buttons like I said you don't know how it will work and you haven't seen it in action yet.
