never liked any DC and that choice for Wonder Woman... no no no no no....

Zootropia for me instead.

waiting for Captain America Civil War

Gal Gadot was pretty good. She wasn't in much. I have no complaint towards her casting now.

Not valid to you.  Again, doesn't matter what caveats you're putting on it.  Everyone makes their own decisions.  You are correct though, my decision not to see it in theaters has absolutely nothing to do with the movies quality.  And everything to do with principles.  Fuck Ben Affleck.

Since you already made your mind about the movie before seeing it, in effect, you cannot actually have an opinion on the movie, as you haven't seen the movie. What you have is just a decision to not go see the movie.

In any case, what did Ben Affleck do to you?

So, you're just not listening or reading what you want to read, is what's happening here.  I said I wasn't going to spend money specifically on the movie.  Not that I wouldn't see it.  Why is this so hard to grasp?

Hmm... still says 80% enjoyed it.

Episode 7 was garbage and I think people are starting to catch on to the reality that it is not as good as they thought it was.

lol. keep telling yourself that enough and you even might start to believe it.

what people are you referring to? The same people who hated it day one and still do, and have spent the past 4 months trying to convince everyone it sucks?

Its fine not to like the film, peoples tastes are all different. But it does too many things right for it to be garbage. For instance, I did not like Birdman at all really, just did not click with me, but it clearly was not a garbage movie, it just did not suite my taste.

TFA has very good to excellent acting, solid character development, great action, suberb effects and sounds, pacing was spot on, and its story telling was excellent. Its only true flaw was a somewhat rehashed plot, and the plot did not have much "meat" on it. For me its a top 3 SW movie, and it might be number 1 or 2 depending on how I feel it holds up my 1st DVD viewing(that will tell me if it will have staying power for me).

And is a complete unoriginal copy of episode 4 ignoring decades of filmografy.

As they say...kappa!

Great character development he says... why don't you tell me who ray is?Why was she left in that planet? Why don't you tell me wich planets/star systems were destroyed and why we should care? Why don't you tell me how Leia conveniently wasn't in one of these? Why don't you tell me why the new republic ignored this empire remnant(?) or new threat? Why dyd kylo feel so strongly the dark side to do what he did? Great character development, it all made perfect sense!

And don't get me started on "magically splitting laser beam" (i mean, i can overlook that it would take centuries to travel to the targets for the sake of urgency... but magically splitting?! WTF?!). The movie was trash. Full of plot holes and scientific abominations. I never hated on the prequals. I very much managed to enjoy them even though i hate prequals cause i know the ending. But episode 7 was pure and simply a bad movie. Ofc old timers will think... oh nice they used props instead of CGI 10/10. Ridiculous...

For me personally, I took great exception to Afflecks ignorant and childlike outburst on Bill Maher, where he labeled 2 individuals as 'gross and racist' without even attempting to understand what they were saying (which is typical of the Ostrich Brigade).  He's also another in a long line of idiots who think they can make up new definitions for words that already have established definitions.  No, I won't put any of my money towards that moron.  There's plenty of other things I can spend money on.

Rey is an orphaned scavenger who lives a solitary, lonely life who discovers she has a larger destiny by the end of the film and finds a new adopted family.

Alderaan is destroyed in the first Star Wars. Why should we care?

The prequels are just garbage cartoons, there isn't one relatable human being in three movies. TFA mimicks ANH but at least you believe these characters actually care about each other.

I love MacGruber, The Pest, and Kung Pow!, but this isn't a comedy, and when it come to a genre like this, I find more value in consensus opinion. The trailers look meh as well. Don't give a fuck. Still have yet to see Avengers 2, which was considered better than this. Gotta go take a shit.

John Leguizamo's comedy is actually pretty goddamn good.  The Pest is goofy (I liked it), but that standup he did (Freak) was extraordinary imo.

Now at 78%. It will most likely decline until the low 70s or mid 60s.
