Since you already made your mind about the movie before seeing it, in effect, you cannot actually have an opinion on the movie, as you haven't seen the movie. What you have is just a decision to not go see the movie.

So, you're just not listening or reading what you want to read, is what's happening here.  I said I wasn't going to spend money specifically on the movie.  Not that I wouldn't see it.  Why is this so hard to grasp?
