Trust me. When you see the game in motion and it blows All precious console games away, you wont care about what numbers are. It makes ROTR look last gen. I actually couldn't believe it was a current gen game.

As good as Quantum Break looks, nothing makes ROTTR look last gen.

Lies!

This very clearly makes it look and run like a last gen title!

On topic the resolution of this wouldn't worry me in the slightest while playing it, but the screen tearing accross the lighting effects really would be distracting from the action especially considering the way the lighting is being added to the frames as an after effect it was far more glaring a tear when they popped up, but that said it was only in the outdoor area shooting scene and inside the action looked really nice and smooth.

Those pop in shadows would be a bit strange too though indoors, I mean not going to take away from it looking like a lovely game with a ton of graphical tricks, but it's quite clear that the console could have done with a small bit more horsepower under the hood and while running about in the game which is intended as a graphical showcase of the system with shadows popping in so close and shuddery shadows and reflections reminded me of the 3DS resident evil shadow effects,it's just a bit of a shame that it could have been avoided if the console had been created with HD gaming alone in mind rather than it's All in One idea.

Still though at the end of the day the characters and story look like a cinema quality release so I hope the game does great sales wise, need more AAA+ titles like that and people gotta shell out to fund more of that level of game.

PC does not have " generations ".

Preorder cancelled...

Well, sure, if we're talking about the last gen version. I his case, he was talking about the X1 version.

In my case, I was talking:

Right now, nothing out makes the PC version of the game look last gen.

Obviously I wasn't referring to PC. Hey if your getting Quantum Break on PC it would be cool to hear from you just how good QB looks. :)

900p/30fps on a big ps4 exclusive is not the same as a that on a third party multyplat. I expect devs to put more effort into it, that it would be easier with one output hardware and using it as best as possible and getting as close to the metal as pssible. So 720p/30fps on x1 exclusive is still shocking.

Technically Quantum Break isn't an Xbox One exclusive, it's on PC as well.

However, Dead Rising 3 was initially X1 exclusive, (The PC port came later) and that ran at 720p/30fps, so I don't find it shocking.

QB was developed as a x1 exclusive. I remember the article where they said that it took them like a day t port the x1 game over to windows 10. But it was from the very begining to the end devloped as an x1 exclusive. I just wish I could find the article.

Dead rising 3 was a launch title. Since the launch, the x1 had a power boost from loosing all kinect functionallity, then released an extra core being saved for os to gaming, then direct x12 came out. The x1 is not the same as when it launched. Not that huge of a diference, but it performs better non the less, so its not excusable.

The order was sub 1080p and first party. It's also by far the best looking 8th gen title. So as long as the game looks good I don't care all that much about the resolution.

The order was not technically sub 1080p. They basicly added the movielike blackbars to it. IT was just for cinematic purpouse, not cuz the console could not handle it. Theres a diference in a game being upscaled from a sub 1080p format and a game being native 1080p wich the order 1886 was.  But I have no way of proving that but just go with what the devs said and digital foundry.

Lord, can u name this mystery exclusive ? Sony is very conservative about single player mode. Only The Order 1866 ruined the meta, but man, it's graphics are next gen graphic.

I never said that there was any. I think you misquoted me. Im saying I would be shocked if there where, cuz there are none to my knowledge.

Though the resolution of the order is highter than 900p.

It is native 1080p

Yeah true, but i mean even without black bars. But at least the IQ is as good as 1080p since there is no upscale
