Oh cool so then I can reply to you! So have you figured out exactly what Baams abiility is? Because it is like he has bottomless potential? And what do you think is going on with Kaiser that no one has defeated him? I wonder how much stronger or different Baam has become after coming back from the Rice Pot again. And we have another Arie swordsman already....very interesting.

I feel like baam is someone special. Like he was a super god that got defeated? Maybe the child of one that got hidden away. That is why it is all about finding out who he is and his past.  I'm not sure if there is a trick involved or not. Endrosia probably could have won if she was more prepared. And the white haired guy with the new sword sounds like he can challenge kaiser. So I think he may just be that powerful.

Yeah I was smewhere along the same lines. Like once he finds what his orgins are and the true source of his power it will be like he IS the source of power in the tower or something like that. And yeah I think she could have won as well or it must have just been some crazy trick that was used on her. Since Kaiser is more than likey from one of the ten families.

Clear as day now lol!

Btw, a bit sad HnI chapter was so short today.
It hardly miss a week, but sometimes it comes with less pages (I remember one with only 5 pages, though it was because Morikawa was really sick, and it came with an apoligize as well), but 12-13 page chapters are not that rare.

Yeah it was super short...but someone told me it is all hand drawn or something and it takes longer to render. Still I look forward to it whenever I see it. Can't wait to see where it goes from this point.

The Seven Deadly Sins 185 - Escanor is a freaking MONSTER!!! Can't wait to see what happens next. Like who is going to defeat this dude?

Fairy Tail 495 - FINALLY Gildartz has arrived! I was like what the heck where is he! How can he be M.I.A at this time!

Hajime No Ippo 1148 - This New dempsey roll has me so hype and seeing all teh work being put into it makes it so much better! I wonder who he will fight in an actual match for his comeback and will he use it during that match.

Tower of God 288 - Ba......wait does anyone here read Tower of God outside of me? If not you all should!!!

This was crazy.... I expected the opposite outcome at first then that talk about the sun just made me go.... well.... dang. What a beast.

Yay, activity is back in this thread! I take it some fun new chapters came out recently, meanwhile I'm picking up smaller titles and delaying my progress in reading pokemon adventures...

Anyways, I got an idea for a new topic. While talking about my favorite manga artists, I recalled a series they wrote that I enjoyed, but got canceled, called Gun Blaze West. It too place in the wild west (obviously xD ) and had interesting characters and cool action scenes, but the general audience did not like it, so it got the boot!

So my question is: Was there a manga series you enjoyed, but unfortunately got canceled?

Does Hunter x Hunter count since, knowing this particular mangaka, it may as well be cancelled since it will never be on a regular release schedule ever again?

On a different note, I decided to pick up Boku no Hero Academia where the anime ended. So 20 chapters in, which explains why it seems like so little happened in the anime up to the season end. If they had hit Stain in the anime, or even the Psuedo Sports Festival tournament, we would have seen much cooler stuff. Hell, being around chapter 60 and seeing Deku actually using One for All not to exclusively shatter his bones is truly refreshing.

That said, the series definitely suffers from issues of forgettable characters and otherwise ridiculously standard protagonist progression. It's hardly a shining star in its genre, but it's at least entertaining enough.

Funnily enough, two series that I was reading got canceled in similar fashion.

Both Double Arts and Hungry Joker were serialized for less than 25 chapters and then suddenly stopped mid story. Both authors then went on to create more popular but imo less interesting series, Nisekoi and Black Clover respectively.

Mentioning Hunter x Hunter as an example of a canceled series made me chuckle. It gets put on hiatus a lot, doesn't it? At this rate, I wonder if the series will ever reach an end.. xD

Ugh, and I reeeally need to read Boku No Hero.. >_< Everyone here is getting up to speed on it.

Off teh top of my head for me it would have to be The Breaker/The Breaker:New Waves.....like where it ended I was in awe like oh wow this is about to be good then gone...I was like NOOOOOOOO how the heck does this even happen?

And then Witch Hunter comes to mind....I do not know if it has been cancelled but it has not been updated since freaking March!!!!

Yes, do it ! I read all the 100 chapters in 2 days so it won't take you a lot of time (of course I didn't do much else during those two days) but it's worth it !
