It seems like the social interaction for now is the question/answer part, which is the "ask.fm" part I was refering before. I also notice there are thematic photo contests (this week is photos with cats I think, bloody cats xDD). But, yeah, I think that integrating simple MP games between friends could be a great addition in the future.

So after reading this interview from TIME with Reggie (http://time.com/4261043/nintendo-miitomo-mobile-app-ios-android-release-date/), I'm very sure that they will add multiple mini-games, including multiplayer ones. Look at this:
"We’re also looking at Miitomo as a long-term opportunity. We expect that the Miitomo experience will expand and evolve over time through updates. It’s a service that we will continue to add to. In that sense, looking to quickly make a judgment on the impact of Miitomo may not tell the full story like it would with a traditional packaged game."
Apps like these evolve after updates. It's why Snapchat is so relevant. Those effects you see pop up are no accident. It's genius. The Miitomo we see now is just the foundation. It might make sense for them to keep it as simple as possible at first, and then once the platform has a large installed base, they can update the app with that multiplayer mini-game so that everyone is well used to navigating the app and it's features by that point. People are still discovering what Miitomo does and adding friends and such. It's probably smarter to wait until everyone has people to actually play with first before releasing it, which is the smart leveled way to handle things when you consider all the layers this app has already.
Good show, Nintendo. Very exciting.
