It is a bit concerning, we just have to wait and see but with little to none marketing miitomo may struggle.

So many of my hopes for this app have gone down the drain due to the lack of marketing.

Well, I don't really know what they're playing right now. I don't know if they're following the approach of "don't show to make people talk about it" or what. I mean, it's ridiculous, but they're doing the same with almost everything lately xDDDD.

I get the sense Miitomo's more of Iwata's baby and it's something that Kimishima and maybe some of the newer leadership staff at Nintendo isn't as invested in (see also: Nintendo's QoL Sleep Sensor which also seems to have been put on the back burner).

Just a prediction but I think under Kimishima Nintendo will push more for the big gun Nintendo franchise characters to go mobile not something like Miitomo. 

Mmmm interesting. I also remember reading that the next mobile games will have more traditional IPs, nut can't remember if it was a rumor or official.

I wonder what kind of hardware will Kimishima develop under his leadership.

First off, the app is not out yet. Nowhere to see in the japan google play store.

Second, there is a embargo for some journalist, because they got to try it out sometime ago. The embargo goes up in roughly 7 hours. By them, the miimoto app will be out, i think. Simply don't expect to hear about it till tomorrow so.
